GOT INSURANCE?

Yes, we accept insurance. Most insurances will only cover 15 minutes of treatment time for musculoskeletal pain symptoms. It is important to note that, this limited timeframe may work for other alternative health modalities, however, patients may not obtain the full benefits of an Acupuncture treatment due to the short duration of time. Therefore, we chose to provide additional treatment time for our patients up to 30 minutes per session at no additional cost to the patient =).

Disclaimer: We chose to accept Insurance as a courtesy. Patients are financially responsible for all services and treatments provided if insurances do not provide coverage/ benefits or fails to pay for treatments rendered. Any unpaid medical bill or fees may be sent to a third-party debt collector to settle the debt.

WHAT ABOUT WORKERS COMP OR AUTO INJURY?

We accept Workers Compensation insurance and Auto/ Personal Injury cases. Please let your company know that we accept Workers Compensation and that they need to send us authorization and approval for us to provide treatment. Workers Compensation usually consist of 6 sessions at no cost to the patient or injured workers.

If you were injured in an auto accident and have a lawyer or an insurance adjuster handling your claim, please inform them that we offer a Doctor's Lien. This allows us to provide treatments at no immediate cost to the patient, with reimbursement made after the settlement of the claim or lawsuit. Kindly have your attorney, law firm or insurance adjuster contact us via email at info@blessedacu.com or send documents by fax to 916-384-4882.

Important note: Acceptance of workers’ compensation, auto injury, or doctor’s lien cases is at the sole discretion of the clinic. Blessed Acupuncture and Wellness, Inc., reserves the right to decline or refuse any case at any time, without obligation to provide a reason, as long as such decisions are made in accordance with applicable laws. In such cases, patients are encouraged to seek care from another licensed acupuncture provider. If insurance billing or Superbill is required—such as through auto insurance, a doctor’s lien, or a legal settlement—the rate for acupuncture services will be adjusted (compared to the time of service/ cash rate) and is typically higher to account for administrative processing and delayed reimbursement.
